White River Fishing Report – Late Fall Update

Flows:
We’ve been seeing one generator to minimum flow most mornings, creating that ideal low, steady water we like to see this time of year. Clear conditions and lighter pressure have made for excellent nymphing opportunities across the system.

Fishing:
The bite is turning on in a big way. Strong numbers have been the theme the last few days, with a handful of solid fish mixed in. Low water, minimal boat traffic, and cooling temps are lining things up for the kind of late-fall window the White is known for.

As water temps continue to drop, fish are sliding upriver and getting active. Your chances of connecting with a quality brown increase every day right now. Targeting banks, fast water, and staying mobile has been the key—if you’re willing to hunt, the river will reward you. Last year reminded us just how strong the late-fall fishery can be, and this season is shaping up the same way.

Weather:
We’ve had a great stretch—high 40s in the morning and pushing into the upper 60s by afternoon. Perfect conditions to be on the oars or behind the rod.
