It was sure was a different hex hatch season this year! Started early with heat at the beginning of June and still few places left with some spinner falls. The June of thunderstorms and high water! Sure didn’t make it easy many nights but hatch sure produced some good ones.

Dark hex typically start rolling Aug 1st! This is a Smallmouth Bass hatch and I will all over this the first 3 weeks of August.
