We have had some periods of low water this winter here in Northern Arkansas on the White River. Strippin streamers still can be productive and a great way to hunt for Big Browns. In the low flows floating lines are ideal and down sizing the streamer. Here is beauty caught on minimum flow on one my articulated shad patterns.
We have always done a lot of night fishing but finally get the streamer gig dialed in this winter in the dark. So effective some night when mousing isn’t producing. Rainbow patterns and black sculpins have been most productive.
