We have had a lot of cold weather here this winter in Northern Arkansas. Cold weather brings high power generation and good streamer water even in a very dry period.

Strippin streamers has produced and top patterns has been Rainbow imitations: Great Lakes Deceivers, Viking Midge, Skull Head Articulated Rainbow and Slop Mop have all produced. Chartreuse has also been excellent. When the big stuff isn’t working it large sculpin imitations: Dungeons, Slop Mop, Circus Peanut, Chromatic Peanut, Sluggo and our Michigan goby patterns.

Forecast here is changing and it’s what I call spring like weather for the next couple weeks. Which probably means low water which has already started and short bursts of high water. Low water means back to mousing at night for Big Browns!
