Just what the Au Sable needed – a good rain and finally some snow melting! Still lots of snow and ice around but finally the first sign of spring. The lower river is in great shape now and came up about a foot. Its running clear and a nice green shade. Bright chrome steelhead are showing up now and also good numbers of Atlantic Salmon! Greg got this beautiful one this morning and we had plenty of action with 4 in the net.
