Atlantic Salmon fishing remains very good on the Au Sable River. The bite can sure turn on and off with this badass fish – very aggressive to no interest and sitting next to my boat! Thats just Atlantic Salmon! The low water Fall season so far has been ideal for them. Of late we have been swinging small streamers on floating lines with no weight and watching these Atlantics come up and eat the fly. When needing to get down an Airflo Polyleader or Flo tip is ideal and that is what I’m using on our spey rod setups with non weighted flies.
