Rattling Murdich Minnows below are one of my favorite patterns for so many different fish. Smallmouth and Trout but also King Salmon. We have added lead eyes to the magnum size in colors chartreuse/white & fire tiger and these are ideal for early run King Salmon in North West Michigan in late August and September. Another pattern we have modified for Kings is our Great Lakes Deceiver with glow chartreuse/white & glow fire tiger and lead eye.
Its mousing time for Big Browns throughout Northern Michigan from now till mid September. Big hatches are gone now and Browns are looking for a good size meal at night. Steve Yewchuck ties the best mouse patterns I have found and they are what I use. Do stock a few for online sales at:
