Every year in the late Fall (typically November & December) bait fish migrate into the shoreline and shallow water structures. Perch, shad and emerald shiners are the bulk of them. Great time for those that like to fly fish in the Great Lakes. Of late ice has been a problem with winter temps finally here but the last week fishing was excellent. Wind has so much to do with ice build up around the shoreline who knows what the next couple weeks will bring. Could be some some ice fishing as inland lakes are freezing over. Could be we keep stripping streamers in the Big Lake!

Brown Trout numbers have been increasing in Lake Huron and here is just a beautiful one we got last week!
