In the past I have always done a lot of night time mousing during my winter stay in January, February and March. The cold months fish very well at night if there isn’t high water. The past week I spend at the White River Trout Lodge and we night fished! Had a great time we caught lots of Browns. Didn’t get the giants we had hoped for but such good action on 18-24″ and lost a couple larger ones. Here picture from in front of the lodge and such a peaceful setting.
I’m currently booking trips for 2025 on the White River and will be offering our same package with lodging, meals and guide fishing trips. The 4 nights/3 days or nights of fishing is most popular but can set it up for any time frame. Also booking for late July and first half of August. I will be in Arkansas then at the White River Trout Lodge. My focus will be night time trips but will have excellent local guides for groups and those that want to daytime fish. That is also hopper time on the White River.

We used the Airflo Sniper 4 Season lines for the entire week of mousing. It’s my go to line now and rolls over the larger mouse patterns ideally when fishing a large river. I do have these in our online sales section.
