Had an excellent steelhead run in the lower Au Sable River this Spring! The super early melt down here in Northern Michigan wasn’t ideal as river temps were well up in mid 40’s in early April. A lot more early spawning than I have ever seen in this river. It sure was nice to have a much larger run come from Lake Huron! Everything seems to be changing for better out in the big lake and Steelhead, Atlantic Salmon and Coho are all doing so well! Still a few Steelhead around now and a few more could trickle in!
