With Lake Huron warming up much earlier than most years our Smallmouth fishing on the shoreline started early this year in mid April – good fishing continues! These Smallies are in 3 different modes right now with some in pre spawn, some spawning and some in post spawn. This makes for ideal fishing! Lately its been 3-8′ of water and fish rocky structure. Floating lines and small minnow and goby patterns have been most productive of late.
Here are some of my favorite patterns for this time of year on Lake Huron and I do have them in stock:
