This rod bent over on Atlantic Salmon and Steelhead is getting to be a common sight in my boat of late! I have been keeping 3 of them rigged in my boat on my guided trips this spring. Deep water nymphing or swinging the streamer – this rod gets the job done!
Below is swinging the streamer for Spring time Atlantic Salmon. Line – Airflo Skagit Scout 290 grain with lightweight 10′ T8 tip. For deep water nymphing for Steelhead the Airflo Ridge 2.0 floating line 20lb is my line of choice.
