Its all trout fishing for me now and have closed out our Spring Steelhead season. I start back in the lower Au Sable in early October chasing Atlantic Salmon and Steelhead.
The last 3 days been floating our trout water on the Au Sable and have had some good dry fly fishing. Daytime Dark Hendrickon Hatch is pretty much down to a trickle now but have had excellent spinner falls just before dark with all the warm days of late. Some good trout rising into darkness! This coming week is going to be Sulphur time. Looking like warm and dry which is ideal for rising trout. Time for some mousing after spinner falls end!
