Not many rivers where anglers can book a guided fly fishing float trip and catch Steelhead, Brown Trout and Atlantic Salmon in the same day! Its doable on the Au Sable River. Tough in the Spring with Atlantic Salmon numbers being low. Very doable in late Oct/Nov!
Trent and Nic got them all today! Steelhead was on a nymphing rig and Atlantic & Brown Trout were stripping streamers. Nic got the toughest one first with a beautiful Atlantic while stripping a sparkle minnow on a Airflo Streamer Max fly line.
Next up was Trent with Steelhead!
Got prefect evening conditions with some light rain and we went to stripping Great Lakes Deceivers for big browns and had some good action!
