Au Sable River – Michigan’s most famous river has it all for the fly angler.  In the “big waters” section of the lower Au Sable, you can find big brown trout and prolific hatches, including the hallowed “Hex hatch.”  The lowest section of the river sports good runs of steelhead and Atlantic salmon.

Betsie River – Flowing into Lake Michigan, the Betsie has great runs of migratory fish.  The King Salmon run in August and September can be epic, and the spring steelheading is strong.

Lake Huron – The Lake Huron shoreline near Oscoda and Tawas has a wide variety of angling opportunities.  In warmer months, smallmouth bass and carp fishing is outstanding.  In late fall, we target lake trout, steelhead, and Atlantic salmon with streamers in the big lake.

White River, Arkansas – Because sometimes you have to travel to find good weather for fishing, we spend January to March in Arkansas chasing monster brown trout on the White River.  Check out ArkansasStreamside.com for trips and guide service on the White.
