The Great Lakes Deceiver is a pattern that we have developed that is extremely effective for many species and one of our favorites here in Michigan and in Arkansas for Big Brown Trout. It has that huge profile in the water and is one most productive big fish patterns. This one is built to get down deep – sparse bucktail and helmet for making fly sink. Fly still has the large profile but less bulk and it is just made to get down deep. One of favorites on the White River in Arkansas in high water. Fish it on a Airflo Shovelhead Streamer line. Lengthen leader to about 6 feet and it will be down quick and stay down.
